Our mission is to give our employees flexible working schedules, value recognition, and empowerment through opportunity. Black Women In Nature is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2020 to cultivate space for Black women to engage in mindful movement, authentic sisterhood and environmental awareness while exploring the holistic, ancestral roots of the outdoors. Led by co-founders Ivory Levert and Angela Mitchell, Black Women In Nature (BWIN) hosts monthly gatherings, retreats and curated programs for community organizations and corporations that include yoga, meditation, hiking and reflective dialogue.

Ashequka Lacey is the owner of Baby Bays Naturals, an all-natural skincare line for babies and children. Baby Bays Naturals was started in 2020 as a solution to help her son with his eczema. Since then Baby Bays Naturals has been the go to brand for helping to heal the skin for children.

Chineze Okpalaoka
Black Girl Miracle (BGM) is a creative arts platform that celebrates the beauty of Black womanhood by engineering creative stories and interactive experiences that humanize us. Since 2018, we have been changing the way Black women and girls are represented in the arts by putting the power back in our hands to tell our own stories. Our signature event is an interactive pop-up art exhibit that incorporates the visual and performing arts to curate poignant and intimate experiences that have drawn hundreds of attendees from across our region and beyond. Black Girl Miracle’s ultimate vision is to sit at the intersection of arts, culture, and advocacy to to reimagine, then steward a world where Black girls are protected, empowered, and resourced to realize their full potential.

Sharks & Lilies is a handmade jewelry company based in Columbus, Ohio, founded in August 2017 with a goal to provide unique, high-quality jewelry that captures emotions and makes a statement. Inspired by her grandmother, the founder infuses love into each piece, crafting them by hand in her home. Our innovative solution involves installing on-campus vending machines that cater to those who lack access to nearby beauty supply stores or reliable transportation. Whether it's early mornings or late nights, our vending machines will be readily available to back up your beauty needs!
Tainesha Owens
The Bold Joy Movement offers a self-esteem curriculum, pop-up workshops, and connections to mental health resources. The Bold Joy Movement teaches forgiveness, joy, and positive self-talk through the use of uplifting music, movement, and affirmations. Participants are supported in coping with adversity by providing tools that increase their self-esteem, which is essential to overcoming adversity. It is our passion to assist individuals in overcoming personal and systemic obstacles to cultivate personal development and opportunities.
